Business Ambassador Terms

Last updated October 28, 2026

These terms are for service businesses Homestone approves as Business Ambassadors: businesses that get their Homestone plan free in exchange for honest content about running their business on Homestone. They add to the Terms of Service, which still apply.

1. Joining

You apply on the partners page as a Business Ambassador. A person at Homestone reads every application and may say no. If we move ahead, we email you a Business Ambassador Agreement to read and sign online by typing your full name. It names the plan you get free and for how many months. Your free plan starts when Homestone approves your signed agreement.

2. What Homestone gives you

  • The plan named in your agreement, free for the number of months in your agreement.
  • Card processing fees that Stripe charges on payments your customers make are not covered.

3. Your code

You get your own code and share link. When another business starts a free trial or books a setup call through it, and Homestone has not already been talking with it, you earn 20% (or the share in your agreement) of what that business pays for its plan for its first 12 months. Setup fees and refunded payments do not count. You are paid monthly for the month before, and the Pro Partner upgrade in the Partner Program Terms applies to you too.

4. What you do while your plan is free

  • At least 2 posts or stories a month about running your business on Homestone, tagging @gethomestone.
  • One short video, under 60 seconds, in your first 30 days showing how you use Homestone.
  • Your Homestone booking page link in your Instagram bio or highlights.
  • Homestone may feature your business in Homestone Stories. You see and okay the write-up before it goes up.

5. Honesty and disclosure

  • Because your plan is free, these posts are ads under the law. Label every post with the Paid partnership tag or #ad.
  • Share your honest opinion. Homestone never requires you to say anything positive.
  • Only share real features and real results.

6. Using your content

You own your posts. Homestone may repost, share and quote them, with credit to you, on its website, social pages and emails for 12 months after each post. Homestone only uses your posts, name or logo in paid ads with your written okay. If you ask in writing, Homestone stops any new use within 14 days.

7. Pausing and ending

Homestone may pause or end your free plan at any time by email, for example if posts are missed. You can end your agreement at any time by email. When the free plan pauses or ends, normal billing applies: add a card in Settings within 3 days to keep using Homestone. Nothing is deleted, and posts already made can stay up.

8. General

You are independent, not an employee or agent of Homestone. The free plan has value and may count as income, and you handle your own taxes. Homestone's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy still apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Questions: [email protected].
